If you have been opening ACBuy every few days and wondering whether it is finally safe to place a new order, the mixed signals are understandable. The shopping interface is visible, while community discussions still describe a purchasing function that does not complete normally.
We reviewed ACBuy's public website, dated statements found through Google, recent Reddit discussions and the public Discord invitation. The useful answer is narrower than many posts suggest: the service has not published a clear, dated notice on its public homepage confirming that normal purchasing has fully resumed.
What the public information actually says
A June statement said ACBuy was carrying out security and operational upgrades. It expected work to finish at the end of June and described a gradual return from 1 July. During that period, purchasing was to be suspended, while warehouse and parcel-shipping services for stored items were described separately.
That target date did not become a reliable restart date. In an ACBuy community thread dated 12 August, a reply presented as coming from an ACBuy representative said the purchasing function had not yet been restored and that further optimisation was continuing. The reply did not give a firm reopening date.
The public ACBuy landing page can still load the shopping interface. We did not find a dated notice there confirming a full return to normal purchasing. A working homepage, a search box or a login screen is not the same as a successfully processed order.
What to do if you are waiting to buy
Check the function, not the appearance
Use only your own account and stop before adding funds if the order flow is unavailable, loops back or shows a maintenance message. Do not submit the same order repeatedly just to test it.
Separate new purchases from stored parcels
The platform's earlier statements treated purchasing and parcel shipping as different services. If you already have items in the warehouse, read the current parcel status in your account and ask official support about that parcel specifically.
Keep a small evidence folder
Save dated screenshots of balances, order status, warehouse items, parcel records and support replies. This is more useful than relying on a disappearing comment or an undated screenshot shared by someone else.
Use a unique password
The June statement included an account-security reminder. A unique password is sensible here, and it should not be reused on email, payment or other shopping accounts.
What remains uncertain
Reddit contains both reassurance and strong criticism. Those posts show what users are experiencing, but they do not prove that every account, warehouse item or withdrawal has the same status. We have therefore not repeated claims that ACBuy is closing, nor claims that a full reopening is imminent.
The public Discord invitation is active, but announcement channels were not readable without an authenticated session during this review. We have not attributed any new Discord announcement that we could not inspect directly.
How this update was checked
Google was used to locate dated pages, then the source pages were read directly. ACBuy's own public pages and attributed statements were treated as platform information. Reddit replies were treated as community evidence unless the author was clearly presented as a representative. Discord was treated as unavailable beyond the public invitation page.
This is an independent reader update, not an ACBuy announcement. Account screens and official support take priority for a specific order, parcel, balance or withdrawal. We will update this page when a newer dated source changes the practical advice.
